My work

Here are some of the projects I’ve worked on
OneXCare Promo
A commercial product video showcasing digital solutions for cancer care

The video was produced for MediXSpace’s stand at the biggest international MedTech Expo HiMSS 2022 in Orlando, Florida, and the company’s website. This has been my first experience of carrying out a full-cycle production project, from drafting the storyboard to signing off the final version. There were only two of us working on it — myself as an author, scriptwriter, producer, coordinator and casting & location manager, and a director who did the rest — camera, editing, color correction and graphics. The aim was to create a cinematic piece that would create a strong emotional impression and convey the purpose of the company’s products.

MediXSpace Platform Animation
An animated product video explaining the platform concept

This video was created with an aim to pitch our future product at WebSummit 2021 in Lisbon, Portugal. As we did not have the actual product prototype at that time, we decided to explain its functionality and purpose in a short and engaging animation. I wrote the script for this video and provided detailed descriptions for the visuals, which were then transformed into an animation by BenWildStudios (UK). It took us a few weeks to finalise the result together, and it was worth the effort: our animation attracted crowds at the WebSummit and urged major potential partners and clients (including Astra Zeneca and Roche) to initiate a conversation with us.

MediXSpace Website Project
A complete schematic website layout with copy, images and detailed task ready for design

MediXSpace gave me full credit to shape the image of the company’s future website. Not only did I write the copy, but I also drafted the layout of all the pages in a visual website prototype editor (Whimsical). This way I could make sure our textual content and images work well together and fit into the design I described in the technical task for the developers. Having a fairly detailed layout significantly facilitated the preliminary budgeting of the project. It also helped me give our founders an idea of what they will get in the end, so they could consciously approve my idea.
How I did it
Health & Help Editorial
Building up a volunteer content writing team in an international charity organisation

Health & Help is a non-profit organisation that runs two charity clinics in the rural regions of Central America. Our social network channels account for 70% of the NPO’s budget, and it is my team’s responsibility to produce content for them. I took charge of building up our team of copywriters from scratch by recruiting, training and mentoring new volunteers, organising the workflow in our editorial and overseeing our communications with other PR & fundraising units. The team I manage currently consists of 9 writers, 3 editors and 2 proofreaders. Together we successfully launch social media campaigns gathering up to $ 3500 dollars in 3 weeks.

Winning a DeepTech Pitch Competition
Securing interest from venture investment funds and getting acknowledged by TechCrunch’s editor Mike Butcher

I presented the MediXSpace 2n opinion platform concept at the DeepTech evening in Lisbon — a side event of WebSummit 2021. As my application helped us succeed in the preliminary selection process — we were the top 6 startups out of 150 candidates, I went on to pitch it on the stage. The competition was judged by Mike Butcher, TechCrunch’s editor-at-large. Despite being my first-ever product pitch, it turned out to be a huge success: not only did we win the contest, but we received a large amount of interest from the investors present at the event, with some of the contacts resulting in consequent meetings. Negotiations about the potential investments into our product are currently in progress.

Movavi Company Blog
Running a user-oriented blog for an international IT company

Movavi is an international software development company that produces apps for video and photo editing. For nearly 1,5 years I managed Movavi Blog in two languages as a Creative Editor. While being in charge of the editorial team, I introduced a number of new content formats (e.g. expert interviews, user stories), brought back SEO optimisation and fostered collaboration with other content marketing units within the company. As a result, the blog started generating higher conversion in sales and retention.
